Does the watch has FDA or Health Canada approval?

It is in the process of getting regulatory requirements including FDA and Health Canada and is planned to be received by Jan 2023.

Is it possible to track the location of the person wearing this watch?

Yes, it is possible if we add a GPS sensor. The current version does not have this sensor.

Is the smart watch battery-powered?

Yes, it has a rechargeable battery.

What is the accuracy?

Our device detects body temperature with ±0.1°C accuracy, respiratory rate with 95%, heart rate and blood oxygenation by 98% accuracy, systolic blood pressure with 90%, and diastolic blood pressure with 95%.

How is this different from Omron's watch?

OMRON’s watch has mechanical sensors and it has a cuff that inflates and deflates. It is not continuous as well and you need to move your hand to your heart level.

What if I don’t like it after trying it, can it be returned?

Do you have a CE mark of approval for use in Europe?

No, we don’t have a CE mark of approval for use in Europe just yet.

 

Can the watch also be used to measure heart rate during exercise? For example running to reach a certain heart rate?

The current version measures vital signs in a steady-state since it is not possible to estimate blood pressure while exercising (there will be noise). Although blood pressure cannot be measured, it is possible to measure heart rate while exercising.

 

Is the app available for iphone and where is it obtained?

It is not yet launched on the app store but will be available soon.

Can the device be configured to track central venous pressure via the PPG signal?

It is measuring the peripheral blood pressure from the wrist. Next year, we will release a new device spacing as a patch on a neck to measure central blood pressure from the carotid artery.

Is it usb rechargeable? How long does the battery last?

Yes, it is a USB rechargeable. If you use it the whole day, it will last for 24 hours. However, if you use it for 10-12 times measurement per day, it will last up to 7 days.
